As a college student in the '60s, I was depressed as hell, not satisfied that my textbooks and teachers could not tell me what is the meaning of life. Thus, I decided to drop out of college and become a holy beggar in India. But on the way there, one astoundingly transformational evening, I realized that denying everything would ultimately mean denying denial itself. Thus, rather than renouncing the world, I decided to revolutionize it. So, instead of heading east, I headed west to California as a hitch-hiking, guitar-toting hippie on a world-revolutionization mission. I wrote hundreds of songs and shared the stage with some of the most popular rock bands from that era. But more than musical success, I craved spiritual enlightenment. This desire ultimately brought me to realization of the highest truth under the guidance of one of the greatest spiritual masters in history, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. So now I continue as an author and speaker on my mission to revolutionize this planet.
